From Monday to Wednesday, The Hut was transformed into a relaxing prayer space. All classes had an opportunity to join activities encouraging children to think and reflect on their own lives and wider world issues, or simply to relax and think.
We had a brilliant day at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory doing lots of space themed activities. It was lots of fun.
32 children from Thames & Isis classes attended the Cross Country competition at Tilsley Park. The races started and finished in the stadium, with the children and parents cheering the teams in the stands.
Well done to the girls from Isis class who had the best result and were placed 5th and just missed going through to the Vale Finals. Year 3 & 4 Girls – 124 points Year 3 & 4 Boys – 143 points Year 5 & 6 Girls - 126 points Year 5 & 6 Boys – 143 points Also, congratulations to Samuel who was placed 3rd in the Year 5/6 Boys competition. Thank you to all the parents who helped to transport the children to and from Tilsley Park. |
