In our vibrant and nurturing nursery class at Radley Primary School, we take pride in laying the foundation for a lifetime of learning and discovery. Our nursery is a haven for young minds, filled with dedicated and skilled, caring staff led by our Nursery Teacher and we are passionate about providing the best possible start to your child's educational journey.
At Radley, we understand the unique needs of each child, and our nursery program is designed to develop all areas of the EYFS through adult led and child initiated activities. Learning takes place both inside and outside using our secure outdoor space. We are proud to offer individualised provision to cater to their diverse strengths and interests. Our experienced and compassionate staff create a warm and supportive environment, fostering a sense of security and belonging for every child.
Our nursery class serves as the gateway to a comprehensive and engaging curriculum that paves the way for a seamless transition into the wider offerings of our fabulous school. From early literacy and numeracy skills to social and emotional development, we are committed to nurturing well-rounded individuals who are excited about learning.

Government Funding Your child is eligible for government funding the term after their third birthday. Funding will be received directly by the school for a maximum of 15 hours per week. Please note that we do not split funding with another provider.
Extra sessions if available are charged at £15.00 per session. You will be invoiced monthly in advance. Parents must give us half a term’s notice if they wish to remove their children from the FSU and all sessions allocated must be paid for.
30 Hours Free Childcare for Working Parents The government provides 30 hours a week of free childcare for working parents of three and four-year-olds.
This applies to children in families where both parents are working (or the sole parent in a lone parent family), and each parent earns at least £115.00 per week (a weekly minimum equivalent to 16 hours at national minimum wage); and less than £100,000 per year.
Parents can apply via the following website: https://www. childcarechoices.gov.uk
Please note that the 30 hours government funding cannot be split between two nursery settings.
