Nursery

Radley CE Primary School Nursery is open to all children once they have reached their third birthday.
We offer children a high quality nursery education in a happy and safe environment, with caring staff who work hard to provide the best possible outcomes for the children.
We have 24 places available within a dedicated nursery setting and a wonderful outdoor area.

Session Times

The  sessions times are:
For children aged 3-5 years, Monday to Friday 9am to 12 noon (Morning only)
For children aged 3-5 years, Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm (All day)

Fees

Government Funding
Your child is eligible for government funding the term after their third birthday.  Funding will be received directly by the school for a maximum of 15 hours per week.

Extra sessions if available are charged at £15.00 per session.  You will be invoiced monthly in advance.
Parents must give us half a term’s notice if they wish to remove their children from the FSU and all sessions allocated must be paid for.

30 Hours Free Childcare for Working Parents
The government provides 30 hours a week of free childcare for working parents of three and four-year-olds.

This applies to children in families where both parents are working (or the sole parent in a lone parent family), and each parent earns at least £115.00 per week (a weekly minimum equivalent to 16 hours at national minimum wage); and less than £100,000 per year.

Parents can apply via the following website:
https://www. childcarechoices.gov.uk

Please note that the 30 hours government funding cannot be split between two nursery settings.

We are able to take children from Radley and the surrounding area to our Nursery whether or not they will apply to attend the primary school. We have excellent transition procedures to all our local primary schools and will ensure that your child’s early experiences in our Nursery help to smooth their transition to school.

Staff in the Nursery are very skilled and experienced in planning for all areas of the EYFS through adult led and child initiated activities. Learning takes place both inside and outside using our extensive and secure outdoor space.
